The 7 movies below are examples of movies created by third graders the last 2 weeks of school. We have been working on the research process all year - one lesson a month. Our culminating project was to pick a topic, brainstorm guiding questions, search for and evaluate websites to gather facts, find pictures to support our facts, and create a movie in Photo Story 3. I was very impressed with the students' abilities.
This was the first year we have done this project and, as always, it was a learning process. There are many things we plan to change for next year, but overall, I think it went very well.
So, enjoy these very brief videos - and remember - our objectives were centered on the research process, not the actual content/facts that the students found. :)
